How to edit photos with Camera360 ? (TUTORIAL)

As one of the most social countries in the world, Indonesians are very fond of photo editing applications. Today we will talk about one of the most popular photo editing applications in Asia, namely Camera360 . This application has a lot of features and photo filters that can make photo lovers spend hours each day to beautify their photos.

Next, we give a short tutorial on how to use the Camera360 application. The application that we reviewed is a version of Camera 360 Ultimate for Android version 5.0.

Start using Camera360

Camera360 has four icons at the top and three icons at the bottom. The four buttons above, starting from the left are the Photo Bank icon (in the form of a cloud), the icon to choose to use the front or rear camera (in the form of a camera), the icon for the light (lightning), and the setting icon (tooth shaped). Three buttons at the bottom starting from the left are a photo album icon (in the form of a box), an icon to take pictures (in the form of a yellow circle), and an icon to adjust the photo effects (this icon is colorful).

You can also zoom in and zoom out with a vertical line on the right side of the main screen.

Using filters

Currently, the Camera360 application has eight types of camera effects: effects, selfie, easy cam, scenes, funny, audio, tilt-shift, and color-shift. You can use hundreds of filters from effects, starting from the magic skin category to smooth the skin in photos (for example so the zits are not visible), sketch (pencil shading filter), and retro (old photo filters). You can still download many other effects categories for free there.

Each other type of camera like selfie and funny has its own photo filter. If you don’t want to be dizzy and want good and fast results, the easy cam camera can be your choice. You can blur the photo background with a tilt-shift camera, and adjust any color that appears on the color-shift camera. If you want to insert sound in a photo, use an audio camera.

Camera360 still does not have a paid product in the application. In the future, they will change that by launching several paid filters and cameras.

Editing photo

There are two versions of Camera360 released by the same company, namely Camera360 Ultimate which we are discussing and also Camera360 for Android. The two main differences between the two applications are the user interface and that Camera360 Ultimate has the ability to edit old photos in the Gallery.

You can edit your old photos by going to the photo album section in the Camera360 application. You can find the photo album icon at the bottom left of the main page, then choose “other album” at the bottom of the cellphone. There you are given the option to edit each photo you choose.

Save photos online with Photo Bank

Photo Bank is a feature where you can save all Camera360 images online. To use it, you must first log in using social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, Sina, and QQ. After that, you can set whether Camera360 will upload all images into the Photo Bank automatically through wifi, 3G, or when the mobile is being charged. Of course you can choose to do a manual upload.

The upload settings can be found in the “upload settings” section on the “advanced settings” page in the settings icon.

General settings

You can find six choices in the gear-shaped settings icon, namely touch shoot, sound, timer, stabilizer, focus mode, and advanced settings. You can already guess the function of each setting based on its name. Touch shoot means you can take pictures by touching the screen anywhere, sound means that there will be sound when you take a picture, and a timer to set the time before the cellphone takes a picture.

The stabilizer feature is quite unique because the camera will only capture images when the phone is stable or doesn’t record a lot of movement. So if you have pressed the photographing button but the hand is still rocking, the camera will not capture the image.

There are three choices of focus modes, namely auto, infinity, and macros. Good auto mode is used to take pictures in general. Infinity mode is used to take image objects that are a bit far away, while the macro mode is to capture image objects that are quite close to the lens.

Special arrangement

There are seven things you can do on Camera360’s advanced settings page, which are managing profiles, organizing photo upload systems, organizing photos, managing cameras, managing social media accounts, giving feedback, and reading the “about” page.

On the photo settings page, you can adjust the size of each photo you take, the quality, and the address of the photo. Some other things that you can set there are whether you want to save the original photo too, enter the date and location in each photo, and save photos automatically when pressing the “back” button.

On the camera settings page, you can set whenever there is sound in the application, do you want to see the results of the photo filter directly, do you want to activate the composition screen when taking pictures, set the front camera to act like glass, get vibrations when shooting, test the stabilizer feature, and allow the application to reduce the size of the image to ensure that the portrait can be saved.

On this special settings page, you can also adjust the direction and orientation of your camera. You can do this in the direction revise feature for a saved photo (in photo settings) or preview direction photo (in-camera settings). The difference is that the first photo will be orientated after each photo shoot, while the second camera orientation will be immediately changed before taking a picture.

Camera360 was created by the company Pinguo Inc. from China. They reported that the application surpassed the 250 million users in February with 15 million people actively using this application every day.

We hope the tutorial above can make you more familiar with using Camera360. Happy taking pictures!
